A Wish

The human condition is a condition of rupture. We question whether or not the possibility of repair exists. We believe that the closest we can come to some kind of repair is the acceptance of the fracture in each of us. Our work is a wish for that acceptance. We have based our piece on the traditional Blessing on the Home. Roughly translated into English, the text reads as follows:

Through this gate shall pass no illusion. To this house shall come no deception. Through this door shall pass no delusion. To this room shall come no denial. In this place there shall be acceptance of the fact that the only hope of winning the battle is admitting that it is lost from the start.
