The Room of Pardons

Performance/Installation
The work will begin in an empty, white room with no windows. In the space will be the artist, a ladder, a pencil, a japanese knife (for sharpening), a pitcher of water and a glass. The artist will write the words “forgive me “ in vertical columns, beginning in an upper corner of the room, and continuing until all of the walls are covered with text. Viewers can enter and exit the space at will. The artist will not interact with viewers during the work.
