In our time, the printed t-shirt has become a possible means to convey a straightforward message to the world about the wearer's identity.

The messages printed on the 6 t-shirts that constitute The Imaginary Order, are not necessarily aspects of the viewer's identity that he or she would choose to display. The Imaginary Order addresses the issue of self-perception and demands which remain unsatisfied. The piece is an installation displayed in a gallery window space, viewable from the street.
