The Bottle Project
4 October, 2003

Interactive Art Event
The project took place on a city rooftop and featured an installation of tables lined with rows of dropper bottles. Each bottle had a label, in Hebrew, reading, roughly translated, one of the following: impetus, focus, direction, daring, tenacity, giving up the impossible, compromise, liberation, closeness and relaxation.

Guests were invited to peruse the selection and to take the bottle that they felt most suitable for themselves. The Bottle Project is a piece about personal “lack”. The project asks the question, “What is it that, if attained, would make one’s life easier?” The piece addresses the day-to-day struggle faced by each of us.
